What the signature is, exactly
EUCLM signs with a simple electronic signature (SES) under eIDAS. Each signed document is sealed with an organisation certificate and a trusted timestamp, and keeps a complete audit trail, which makes it legally valid and admissible as evidence across the EU. Advanced signatures (AES) through a qualified trust-service provider are on the roadmap and not available yet.

The extraction approach behind EUCLM is the one we bring to client projects: every field carries the sentence it came from and a confidence score. In client work we add the thresholds that send uncertain cases to a person, for documents that are not contracts too.
