Cookie policy
Last updated:
We do not use cookies
That is the whole policy, and it is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: this website sets no cookies of its own. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no third-party trackers. We also store nothing in your browser's local or session storage.
This is why you have not been shown a consent banner. Under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the ePrivacy Directive, consent is required for storing or accessing information on your device. We do not do that, so there is nothing to consent to. We would rather remove the tracking than ask you to dismiss a dialogue about it.
How we measure our audience without cookies
We do want to know whether our site works. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless by design: it does not set an identifier, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot follow you to other sites.
What we get is aggregate: how many times a page was viewed, which sites link to us, rough country, and whether visitors are on mobile or desktop. What we do not get is any way to single you out, or any profile of you. We consider this a fair trade and the minimum we need to do our jobs.
Strictly necessary security cookies
One honest caveat. Our site sits behind Cloudflare for hosting and protection against attacks. If Cloudflare's bot-management or challenge systems are triggered, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie (typically __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to distinguish a real browser from automated traffic.
These are security measures, not tracking. They carry no advertising identifier, are not used to profile you, and are exempt from the consent requirement because they are strictly necessary to deliver a service you requested. They expire in under an hour, or when your session ends.
Managing what little there is
Because we set no cookies, there is nothing here for you to opt out of. If you want to block or delete cookies generally, every major browser lets you do that in its privacy settings, and you can also browse in a private window. Blocking Cloudflare's security cookies may mean you occasionally have to pass a challenge to reach the site.
If this ever changes
If we later introduce anything that stores or reads information on your device (a customer chat widget, an embedded video, conversion tracking), we will update this page, move the date at the top, and ask for your consent before it loads, not after. We will not quietly add a tracker and rely on a banner to legitimise it.
